I've been pretty much dead to deviantART for the last month. I started school, got sick, blah blah blah. I'm sick right now. Flu.

People, probably not most but still many, that do traces try to pass them off as original works. I am not really bothered by those who do traces to sort of share their interests, but those who are blatantly plagiarizing to further their artist image are stupid. Be that the case, I don't hate those people. I have a friend, who in high school, tried to rip off the deviant Endling who had his original twist to little red riding hood. He brought a bunch of printed pages to school of a graphic novel like layout, and the next day I told him, out of the know of the people he had deceived to impress, that I knew he didn't create them. He was mortified, as well he should have been. We talked for a little bit. I told him he could tell them, feel guilty in secret because I knew, or rather wait a little bit and let me tell them if he was too embarrassed. He decided to come clean himself. I admire him for that.
Original works belong to original artists. If you sham others their rightful claim-in-entirety of a piece, you are a sham artist.
Sham sham sham sham sham.
Goodbye deviantART, I'm going to go enjoy me some more Buffy.
I'll be back hopefully to look at everyone's stuff in the near future.
**EDIT 10 minutes later**
And again!!

The original artist, I'm pretty sure, is Chris Bachalo for Dark Horse Comics. Buffy the Vampire Slayer #2. The Halloween issue.
Oh well, I guess it is Fanart. *shrug*
